We understand your concern for your husband's health and the desire for God's intervention. Let us pray together and seek God's will in this situation.
Firstly, we would like to remind you of the power of prayer and the importance of faith. As it is written in Mark 11:24 (WEB), "Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them." We encourage you to continue in faith, believing that God can and will act according to His will.
However, we must also address the issue of your husband's smoking habit. The Bible teaches us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit and we should honor God with our bodies. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (WEB), "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." We must encourage your husband to respect his body and to cease from activities that harm it, such as smoking.
Moreover, we must pray not just for physical healing, but also for spiritual healing and conviction. If your husband is not walking in obedience to God's word, we must pray that the Holy Spirit convicts him and draws him closer to God. As it is written in 2 Chronicles 7:14 (WEB), "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Balmikos' husband. Lord, we ask that You prepare the way for tomorrow, that You guide the hands of the medical professionals, and that Your will be done. If it is Your will, Lord, we ask that the results show no cancer. But more importantly, Lord, we ask that You draw Balmikos' husband closer to You. Convict him of his sin, Lord, and help him to turn away from it. Help him to honor You with his body, Lord, and to cease from activities that harm it. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Lastly, we want to encourage you, Balmikos, to continue to pray and to trust in God. Share your faith with your husband and encourage him to seek God's will in his life. And always remember the promise in Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
