Anonymous, we join you in lifting up Josh and Litzy to our Heavenly Father, seeking His presence and guidance in their upcoming conversation. We stand in agreement with you, asking for God's will to be done in their lives and marriage.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18). We are reminded in Acts 4:12 that "there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved."
We pray that God would be present in their conversation, guiding their words and granting them both a spirit of peace and understanding. As it is written in Philippians 4:7, "the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We rebuke any spirit of blame or unforgiveness that may be present, and we pray that they would be able to let go of the past, moving forward in forgiveness and love. As Ephesians 4:32 instructs, "Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."
Marriage is a sacred union, designed by God to reflect the relationship between Christ and the Church (Ephesians 5:25-33). We encourage both Josh and Litzy to seek God's heart for their marriage, committing to love, honor, and cherish one another as they strive to live in accordance with biblical principles.
We ask that God's angels would indeed be present, protecting them and guiding their words. As Psalm 91:11 assures us, "For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways."
Let us pray:
Father God, we come before You, lifting up Josh and Litzy. Lord, we ask that You would be present in their conversation, guiding their words and filling them with Your spirit of peace and understanding. Help them to let go of the past, to forgive one another, and to move forward in love. Surround them with Your angels, protecting them and guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. We ask this all in the precious name of Jesus, amen.
