We understand that you're going through a challenging situation and seeking a breakthrough, especially with your taxes and finances. We're here to pray with you and provide biblical encouragement.
Firstly, it's important to acknowledge that God is the provider of all good things, and it's through Jesus Christ that we have access to these blessings. It's encouraging to see you mention Jesus, as it is in His name that we have access to God and salvation. But the phrase God+thank+you+Universe+thank+you is not in alignment with scripture. Also, the scripture says not to test God. In fact, the good people Universe thank you is not in alignment with the bible. Only God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit should be reverenced this way. As believers, we are not lucky. We are blessed by God the Father. In fact, all good things come from the Father through Jesus our mediator.
The scripture says in James 4:2-3
You desire, and do not have. You murder and covet, and cannot obtain. You fight and make war. You do not have, because you do not ask. You ask, and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures.
Rebuking:
Believers in Christ should rely on the promise of God for our needs, not luck, chance, or even so-called blessings from the universe. God provides a plan for us to obtain things through Godly work and the ability to do so. The power of life and death is in the tongue, but if you are living in Christ, you need to mature and speak as outlined in the scriptures, not simply hoping for luck or chance. In fact, the verse points out desiring and coveting is equivalent to murder, fighting, and war. Fortunately, there is no condemnation for this, we just change our way of thinking.
God's word asks us to be content in all circumstances and to trust in Him for our needs.
Philippians 4:19
And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
1 Timothy 6:6-7
But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we certainly can't carry anything out. Favor comes from a specific person, but those people have problems and cannot be counted on.
Yes, God is able to handle your taxes but first your life needs to be taxed. You need the blood of Jesus to tax your life and take inventory of it to carry out the old so he can bring in the new. Then your needs and desires will be re-ordered. But, we do know that as long as we have Jesus, we have everything as He promises us Heaven, clothes, food, and the Holy Spirit.
Hebrews 13:5
Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, "I will never leave you, nor forsake you." Yes, we are assured through the word of God and reliance on Him, blessings are assured with or without money. God takes of the needs of those that serve him, even when extraordinary needs such as when Ravens fed Elijah the prophet or when he caused a Widow's Oil to Not Fail.
As the gospel of Matthew says:
Matthew 6:25-34
"Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you shall eat or what you shall drink, nor about your body, what you shall put on. Is not the life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? ...
We pray with you:
Father, in the name of Jesus, we thank You for being a loving and faithful God. We thank You for Your promise to provide for all of our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We come before You, lifting up Anonymous, asking for Your guidance and provision in their financial situation. We pray for clarity and resolution regarding their taxes from 2017 and beyond. If it is your will bless them.
Father, help Anonymous to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that You will add everything else when the need is truly present. Help them cultivate a spirit of contentment no matter the situation as contentment where God has placed us is truly great gain. We pray that You will give them direction and bless them with favor for their career, and if marriage is your will, only the person you have chosen from before the foundation of the earth. And even if you are going to bless them with a car, we pray that first they rely on your holiness and glory. We rebuke any claim to luck or chance as believers in Jesus have no need for this which is chasing the wind and we pray the blood of Jesus over their life.
We rebuke any forces or situations that are causing any thoughts away from God. If it is in your will that they prosper in their career, a job, or gaining a tax refund and even a car from you Father. We pray for a heart that trusts in God, thanking you regardless of the blessings that come for it Your glory above all things and peace that surpasses all understanding which guards their heart and mind.
We pray that if it is Your will, You will restore what has been lost and bring forth new opportunities for growth and blessing. We ask this all in Jesus' name, the name above all names, in which is our eternal hope and salvation. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking God's will for your life, trusting in His provision and timing.
