We are glad to join you in prayer and encourage you in the truths of God's Word. Let's first address the power of Jesus' name, as you've rightly pointed out. It is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Indeed, there is power in the name of Jesus, and it is by His name that we have access to God the Father.
However, we must clarify that while calling on Jesus' name and writing it is not wrong, the notion that doing so for a specific amount of time or in a certain number of journals will guarantee a special visitation or improvement of circumstances is not biblically sound. Such practices can lead to a form of ritualism that is not supported by Scripture. Instead, we are called to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17 WEB), and to build our relationship with Jesus through constant communication, worship, and obedience to His Word.
Now, let's address the prayer request. We join you in praying for ###'s finances, relationships, health, and mental health. Remember, God cares for every aspect of our lives. It is written in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB, "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### to You. We pray that You would help him with his finances, guiding him in Your wisdom to manage his resources well, and providing for his needs according to Your riches in glory.
We also pray for his relationships, Lord. Guide him in Your will, surround him with godly influences, and if it is Your will, lead him to a godly spouse. We pray for purity in his relationships, that he would flee from sexual immorality and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart (2 Timothy 2:22 WEB).
We commit his health and mental health to You, Lord. You are the Great Physician, and You have the power to heal all diseases (Psalm 103:3 WEB). Touch his body, mind, and spirit, Lord, and bring Your healing and wholeness.
In all things, Lord, help ### to grow in his relationship with You, to trust in You, and to follow Your ways. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage ### to continue in faith, knowing that God has a plan and purpose for him. It is written in Jeremiah 29:11 WEB, "'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,' says Yahweh, 'thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.'" Trust in God, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
