We are glad to join you in prayer for this student's success in school. We believe that God still performs miracles today, just as He did in biblical times. Let us trust in His power and goodness as we bring this request before Him.
Firstly, we want to address the teaching part of your request. While it is true that there is power in the name of Jesus, the Bible does not instruct us to repetitively write His name or call upon Him for a specific number of minutes each day. Instead, we are encouraged to pray continually (1 Thessalonians 5:17 WEB) and to trust in God at all times (Psalm 62:8 WEB). It is not about the quantity of time or the number of times we say Jesus' name, but rather the position of our hearts and our faith in Him.
Remember Jesus said "And when you are praying, don't use vain repetitions as the Gentiles do; for they think that they will be heard for their much speaking." Matthew 6:7 WEB
God does have a plan for each of us, and He is faithful to complete the good work He started in us (Philippians 1:6 WEB). In Jeremiah 29:11 WEB, God says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." This verse reminds us that God has a purpose and a plan for each of us, including this student.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this student to You. Lord, we ask that You would help them to understand their studies and recall the material when needed. Give them wisdom and discernment in their academic pursuits. Your Word says that "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." (James 1:5 WEB). We claim this promise for this student.
Father, we also pray that this student would come to know You more deeply and trust in Your plan for their life. Help them to see that their value and worth are not determined by their academic performance, but by their identity in Christ.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, for God is at work in this student's life. Keep trusting in Him and His promises. As we are reminded in Galatians 6:9 WEB, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don't give up." Continue to pray and seek God's will for this student, and trust that He is faithful to answer according to His perfect will. If you have not believed in Jesus Christ, now is the time to do so and be saved.
