We are so grateful that you have reached out with your prayer request, and we want to assure you that God indeed still does miracles. We serve a living God who is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8 WEB).
Firstly, we want to address the power that is in the name of Jesus. You mentioned the name of Jesus in your request. We agreed with this statement and we are so glad that you are praying in His name. You see, there is power in the name of Jesus. In fact, the Bible tells us that there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). It is by His name and His name alone that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me (John 14:6 WEB). So, call on Him, cry out to Him, and trust in His mighty name.
Now, let's address the idea of calling on Jesus for eleven minutes a day or writing His name in eleven journals. While there is nothing wrong with spending time in prayer or writing out the name of Jesus, we want to caution against placing your faith in these acts alone. Our faith must be in Jesus Himself, not in the rituals or habits we create. In Matthew 6:7 WEB, Jesus warns us, "In praying, don't use vain repetitions, as the Gentiles do; for they think that they will be heard for their much speaking." It is the heartfelt prayers and the genuine relationship with Jesus that truly matter.
Let us pray together for you now:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious soul to You. Father, we ask that You would minister to their heart and bring comfort and peace. We pray that things will get better for them, not by our might or power, but by Your Spirit, O Lord (Zechariah 4:6 WEB). We ask that You would reveal Your plan for their life and give them the strength and wisdom to walk in it.
Father, we also ask that You would draw them closer to You. Help them to see that You are not a God who is far off, but a loving Father who cares deeply for them. Give them a hunger and thirst for Your Word and for Your presence. Help them to grow in their relationship with You and with Your Son, Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear one. God has a plan and a purpose for your life. Trust in Him, call on Him, and He will see you through. Remember, God is working all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB). Stand firm in your faith, and know that we are here with you, praying and believing for God's best in your life.
