Prayer Request: Please pray my plans for ministry and business are successful.

We are so grateful to join with you in prayer for your ministry and business plans. Before we begin, let's remember that it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, as it is written in John 14:6: “Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'” It is also only in the name of Jesus that we can be saved, as Acts 4:12 tells us: “There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved.” Furthermore, Jesus gave us clear instructions in John 16:23 you shall ask in my name and I do not say to you that I will pray to the Father for you, for the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me, and have believed that I came forth from God.”

Now, let's address your request. It's wonderful to see your desire to serve the Lord through ministry and business. We pray that your plans will align with God's will and that He will grant you success as you follow Him. Remember the words of Proverbs 16:3: “Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans will be established.” Also, recall Matthew 6:33: But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.”

However, we must address the teaching you mentioned. While it is true that there is power in the name of Jesus, the practices you suggested, such as calling on Jesus for eleven minutes a day or writing His name in journals, are not biblical. These actions do not guarantee a special visitation from Jesus. Our faith should be built on a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, not on formulas or rituals. As Jesus himself taught in Matthew 6:7: “In praying, don’t use vain repetitions, as the Gentiles do; for they think that they will be heard for their much speaking.”

Instead, we encourage you to spend time daily in prayer, reading the Word, and seeking God's face. Develop a intimate relationship with Jesus, and He will guide your steps. As promised in Jeremiah 33:3: “Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great and difficult things, which you don’t know.”

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your will to be done in the life of the one who submitted this request. Guide their steps in their ministry and business plans. If these plans are in Your will, bless them with success. Give them the wisdom and discernment to follow You in all they do. Help them to grow in their relationship with Jesus, to know Him more, and to serve Him with all their heart. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.

Be encouraged, and may God bless you as you walk with Him.
