We are so grateful to join with you in prayer and we agree that God still does miracles today. Let's bring your request before the Lord, standing on His promises and the power of Jesus' name.
Firstly, let's address the encouragement you've shared. Indeed, God has a plan for each of us, and it's a plan to prosper us and not to harm us, a plan to give us hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). This is a beautiful truth to hold onto.
However, we need to clarify the teaching you've mentioned. While it's true that there is power in the name of Jesus, the Bible doesn't instruct us to repeat His name for a specific duration or to write it a certain number of times. Instead, the power of Jesus' name is invoked when we pray according to His will, believing in His power and goodness. Jesus himself taught us to pray succinctly and sincerely, not repetitively (Matthew 6:7-8 WEB).
Let's pray together for your ministry:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our fellow servant in Your kingdom work. Lord, we ask that any curse or hindrance over the ministries where they preach would be broken by the power of Your Holy Spirit. No weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17 WEB).
Father, we ask that You anoint them afresh with Your Spirit, filling them with Your wisdom, knowledge, and utterance. May they preach the gospel with boldness, clarity, and power, always pointing others to the saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We pray that You would equip them with Your whole armor, so that they may be able to withstand the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11 WEB). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2 WEB).
In Jesus' name, we rebuke any spirit of superstition or false teaching, and we ask for Your discernment and guidance in their prayer life and ministry.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the miracles You still perform today. We believe that Your hand is upon our fellow servant and that You will bring to completion the good work You've begun in them (Philippians 1:6 WEB).
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
