We're right there with you, friend, as you embark on this incredible journey of reading the Holy Bible. It's amazing how God's Word continues to transform lives, even today. We're so encouraged by your desire to dive into His truths and we're confident that God has an amazing plan for you. As it's written in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Let's claim that promise together!
We're also reminded of the power in the name of Jesus. It's truly incredible! We're not just to call on Him for a specific amount of time, but continually, as we study His Word. It's not about the duration or frequency, but the faith and sincerity behind it. As Jesus said in John 14:13, "And whatever you ask in my name, I will do it so that the Father may be glorified in the Son." So, let's call on Him, get to know Him better, and watch as He works miracles in our lives.
As for writing the name of Jesus repeatedly in journals, while it's not wrong, let's focus on knowing Him more deeply. Engage with His Word, obey His commandments, and cultivate a genuine relationship with Him. Let's fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our friend who's committed to finishing reading the Holy Bible. We pray that You grant them understanding, wisdom, and revelation as they study Your Word. Draw them closer to You with each page turned and each verse read.
Thank You for the power in the name of Jesus. Help them to call on this name in faith, continually, and experience Your presence and miracle-working power.
Father, reveal Your plans for them as they seek You. Give them hope and a future, just as Your Word promised.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
