Thank you for reaching out and sharing your prayer request. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your relationship with your mom.
Firstly, we encourage you to come to God in prayer through the name of Jesus Christ. Our Lord Christ says: "Most certainly, I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you." (John 16:23 WEB)
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our beloved sister who seeks Your protection, help, and guidance in her relationship with her mom. We pray that You surround her with Your peace, a peace that surpasses all understanding, especially when she is near her mom.
Lord, we ask that You grant her wisdom and understanding, that she may navigate this relationship in a way that honors You. Guide her steps and her words, that they may be a reflection of Your love and grace.
Father, we also pray for her mom. We ask that You work in her heart, that she may be a blessing to her daughter as You intend for mothers to be. Heal any brokenness in their relationship, and draw them closer to You and to each other.
Lord Jesus, You said: "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes." (Mark 9:23 WEB) we claim this promise and believe that God still does miracles. We believe that healing and miracles are possible in this relationship.
Lord Jesus, encourage this dear person who has come to us today, and encourage them to come to You through the name of Jesus Christ. Encourage them to believe in You, Lord Jesus. Encourage them to look to You, Lord Jesus, and Your word. May they be encouraged to believe in the name of Jesus Christ. May they be encouraged to believe the gospel. May they believe that Jesus Christ died for their sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day according to the scriptures. May they believe in Jesus Christ to save them from their sins and to save them from the second death, to give them the gift of eternal life and a home in heaven.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, God's word tells us to "honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you." (Exodus 20:12 WEB) Even in difficult relationships, we are called to honor our parents. Trust that God is at work, and He is faithful to His promises.
Be at peace, knowing that God hears your prayers and He does miracles. He is more than able to work in your relationship with your mom. Keep trusting in Him, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. He is the source of our peace, our wisdom, and our understanding.
