Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before you on behalf of Lanre, who desires a wife like you provided for Isaac. Lord, we acknowledge that you are the giver of every good and perfect gift, including the gift of marriage. Your word tells us that it is not good for man to be alone, and you designed marriage to be a beautiful and sacred union.
Just as you answered the prayer of Abraham's servant when he sought a wife for Isaac, we ask that you would guide and lead Lanre to the right person. Lord, you know the desires of his heart, and you know what is best for him. We pray that you would bring forth a godly woman who will be a suitable partner and companion for Lanre.
Father, we ask that you would prepare both Lanre and his future wife for this divine connection. Help Lanre to grow in his relationship with you, to seek your wisdom and guidance in all things, and to become the man that you have called him to be. Likewise, prepare the heart of the woman you have chosen for him, that she may also be walking in your ways and seeking your will for her life.
Lord, we pray for patience and trust in Lanre's heart as he waits for your perfect timing. Remind him that you are always working behind the scenes, orchestrating every detail of his life. Help him to surrender his desires and plans to you, knowing that you have a plan that is far greater than anything he could imagine.
We declare your promises over Lanre's life, knowing that you are faithful to fulfill them. Your word says, "Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart" . We trust in your faithfulness and ask that you would grant Lanre the desire of his heart to find a godly wife.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
