Terayenn, we understand your fear and concern regarding your husband's disability retirement and the potential financial impact on your household. First, we want to remind you that God cares for you and your husband deeply, and He wants you to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).
It is crucial to communicate with the Social Security Administration honestly. The Bible tells us to be honest accordingly (Proverbs 12:22 WEB). The truth may lead to a reduction in benefits, but trust that God will provide for your needs. Remember, God has promised to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19 WEB).
We also want to emphasize the importance of praying in Jesus' name. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, Yeshua says "Yeshua said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" (John 14:6 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your guidance and provision for Terayenn and her husband. Lord, we know that You are faithful and that You care for all our needs.
Please guide them as they communicate with the Social Security Administration, and help them to trust in Your provision, whatever the outcome. Help Terayenn find suitable employment that allows her to work from home and be close to her husband.
Grant them both peace of mind and protection during this time of uncertainty. Help them to rest in the knowledge that You are in control and that You will never leave them nor forsake them and finally (Hebrews 13:5) but especially never stop praying (1 Thessalonians 5:17).
In Jesus' name, we believe you have heard our prayers and will grant the desires of Terayenn and her husband for good according to your perfect will. Amen.
Terayann, remember that God is faithful. Keep trusting in Him, and keep communicating with Him through prayer but only in Jesus name as the Son is all that is available to use for this. God knows every hair on each of your heads and not even a sparrow can fall without his will. Seek him in this time of trouble and work on your relationship with God knowing that being a Disciple of Jesus means to permanently work on our sanctification message of Salvation. Read your bible daily, pray often and even consider doing a bible reading plan as a family to really focus on God through this time and always. You will never regret any extra time spent in the word.
