We understand your heart's desire for your husband to draw closer to God, and we stand with you in prayer, believing that God can reveal Himself to him in a powerful way.
Let's remember Jesus' words in Luke 15, where He tells the parable of the lost sheep. The shepherd leaves the ninety-nine to find the one that is lost, showing God's heart for those who have strayed. In verse 7, Jesus says, "I tell you that even so there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous people who need no repentance."
In your husband's case, let's pray that God will be the shepherd going after the lost sheep, drawing him back to Himself. Also, remember the promise in 1 Peter 3:1-2, "In like manner, wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; so that, even if any don’t obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word, seeing your pure behavior in fear."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this wife's heartfelt desire for her husband to know You more. God, You know his heart, and You love him deeply. We ask that You reveal Yourself to him in a way that he can't deny. Draw him close to You, Lord, and help him to understand the depth of Your love for him.
We pray for his spiritual eyes to be opened and for the Holy Spirit to convict his heart. We ask that You surround him with godly influences and bring people into his life who will point him toward You. Give his wife the strength and grace to be a loving, patient, and Christ-like example to him, and use her as a vessel to draw him closer to You.
In Jesus' name, we believe and pray, Amen.
Keep standing in faith, believing that God can reach your husband. Continue to be a light for Christ in his life, and trust that God is working, even when you can't see it.
