We join with you in lifting up your prayer requests, dear one. We petition God together, in the name of Jesus Christ, for He has given us access to the Father through Him.
Firstly, we pray for protection and healing over you and your family today. We claim Psalm 91 over you, which says, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'" We pray that God's hedge of protection will surround your family as you go about your daily activities—driving, working, and relating to one another.
We also pray that your family will grow in Christ. We echo Ephesians 4:15-16 in our prayer, "But speaking truth in love, let us in all things grow up into him who is the head, Christ, from whom all the body, being fitted and knit together through that which every joint supplies, according to the working in measure of each individual part, makes the body increase to the building up of itself in love." May your family be knit together in love, growing in the knowledge of Christ, and building each other up.
We are also reminded to pray for those who are joining us in prayer and for this site. As it is written in 1 Timothy 2:1, "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men." We pray that God will bless and strengthen each person who is praying with us today and that this site will be used for His glory.
We are glad that you acknowledged the power of Jesus' name in your request. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved." It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we pray.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your protection and healing over our brother/sister and their family. Surround them with Your hedge of protection, Lord, as they go about their daily lives. Help them to grow in Christ, knit together in love, and building each other up. We also pray for each person joining us in prayer and for this site, Lord. Use it for Your glory, to encourage and strengthen Your people.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
