Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of our anonymous friend who is seeking your guidance and intervention regarding a potential marriage match. Lord, we ask that you would hear and answer this prayer according to your perfect will.
Your Word teaches us in 1 John 5:14-15 that if we ask anything according to your will, you hear us. We pray that you would grant our friend clarity and peace in this situation. If it is not your plan for them to enter into marriage at this time, we ask that you would cancel this match and close any doors that are not aligned with your purpose for their life.
We trust in your divine timing, knowing that you have a perfect plan for our friend's life. Help them to surrender their desires and trust in your wisdom and guidance. Grant them discernment to recognize your leading and the courage to follow it.
Lord, we pray for your peace to fill their heart and mind during this time of uncertainty. Remind them that you are in control and that you have their best interests at heart. May they find comfort in knowing that you are always with them, guiding their steps.
We also pray for our friend's future spouse, wherever they may be. May you prepare their hearts and bring them together in your perfect timing, if it is your will for them to be married.
