We understand that you are seeking a loving Christian girlfriend, but we want to guide you into a biblical perspective on relationships. First, let's acknowledge the Bible's provision of God's design for man and woman. It is clear from God's word that a man seeking out his wife is essentially the intended goal. When we seek out superficial things, we find ourselves compromising. Our lives and lifestyles should honor God in all we do. Therefore, we should seek out godly characteristics in our potential spouse. By first making sure we ourselves are living within his will and are serious about making Jesus lord of your lifestyle. The scriptures simply say for us to seek first the kingdom of God before he will add things to you.
From Matthew 6:33 WEB: "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
As you pray, remember that it is through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. It is only in His name that we can approach the Father. This includes when we seek his intervention in finding a suitable spouse.
