First, let's acknowledge the Bible's provision of God's design for man and woman. It is clear from God's word that a man seeking out his wife is essentially the intended goal. The scriptures simply say for us to seek first the kingdom of God before he will add things to you.

From Matthew 6:33 WEB: "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."

As you pray, remember that it is through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. It is only in His name that we can approach the Father. This includes when we seek his intervention in finding a suitable spouse.

From John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your will for our lives. We pray for this individual, that You would guide them in their pursuit of a godly spouse. Help them to focus on the inner beauty and spiritual qualities that are pleasing to You. Give them patience and wisdom as they wait on Your timing.

Lord, we ask that You would prepare both them and their future spouse for a relationship that honors You. Help them to grow in their faith and to be a blessing to others. We pray that You would protect them from temptation and from settling for less than Your best.

Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You.
