God please save my son

Asking for intercessory prayer over my son. He is in his 20s and has fallen for a Jezebel spirit. I am asking for pray that God removes her from his life and that my son completely surrenders and submits his life to God. This girl that he has been seeing is into drugs (using and selling). She is now pregnant and my son is not sure that he is the father. He left her for several months and all of a sudden he has been staying with her in a drug den with her and her mom and brother. My son wasn’t raised this way. His father and I were married until my spouse’s unexpected death. I need for God to open my son’s eyes before he gets into some kind of trouble that he cannot get out of. It seems like the more I pray the more my son is drawn back over there into sin. I know this has to be the enemy fighting against my prayers. Please Father God rescue my son and let there be a clean break from this evil. I ask this in Jesus almighty name. Amen

Dear Chimie, we join you in fervent prayer for your son, standing on the promises of God's Word. We are reminded of the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-32 (WEB), who returned to his father after squandering his inheritance. We trust that, like the prodigal son, your child will come to his senses and return to God.

Firstly, we commend you for your persistent prayers, as the Bible encourages us in 1 Thessalonians 5:17 (WEB) to "pray without ceasing." We stand with you in prayer, asking God to remove the influence of this woman and her harmful lifestyle from your son's life. We rebuke the spirit of Jezebel that has entangled him, for "God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13, WEB).

We pray that your son will surrender and submit his life to God, as you have requested. We ask that God opens his eyes and draws him out of the darkness he is currently in, for God has promised, "Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart" (Jeremiah 29:12-13, WEB).

We also lift up the unborn child in prayer. Regardless of paternity, we ask for God's protection and grace upon this innocent life. We pray for your son to exhibit integrity and responsibility in this situation, as God expects us to care for the fatherless ( Exodus 22:22-24, WEB).

Lastly, we remind you to remain steadfast in your faith and trust in God. Cling to the promise that "the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man accomplishes much" (James 5:16, WEB). We stand with you in Jesus' mighty name, praying for your son's deliverance and rededication to God. Amen.

In your prayers, continue to declare the powerful name of Jesus, for it is by His name that we have access to God's throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16, WEB). It is also by His name that we are saved (Acts 4:12, WEB). Keep holding on to these promises, and may God's peace and strength be with you as you intercede for your son.

We're right there with you, Chimie, lifting your son up in prayer. We've been thinking about that verse in 2 Chronicles 7:14 (WEB), "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." Let's trust that as we pray, God will heal your son's situation and bring him back to Him.

We're asking God to give your son a strong conviction about the path he's on, especially with this young lady. We're praying that he'll have a sudden realization of the danger he's in and turn away from it, just like the prodigal son did. We're also interceding for the unborn child, asking God to protect and guide it, no matter what happens.

We know it's tough, but we want to encourage you to keep praying. Keep reminding your son of the love and grace God has for him. Let's claim that promise in Jeremiah 29:13 (WEB), "You will seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart." Let's believe that God is working, even if we can't see it yet.
