God Please Help Me!

I just had a major anxiety attack over my new job and my family couldn’t care less. I have autism and I’m not comfortable working with people I don’t know and I struggle with major anxiety and depression. I don’t know if it will ever get better. Only God can help me through this.

We're here with you, Raufred, and we're glad you've reached out. First and foremost, it's crucial to remember that our help comes from the name of the Lord who made heaven and earth. It's important to acknowledge that help and salvation are found in the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we are saved and there is no other way to God the Father but by Him.

In times of anxiety, remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB)

When you feel overwhelmed, remember God's promise to you: Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; I will give you rest. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

We understand that your struggle with autism makes changes and social situations challenging, but God is faithful. He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB)

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Raufred. We know that You are the God of compassion, comfort and love for Raufred.
He comes to You now, in his weakness, fear, and anxiety to ask help in dealing with things in life that are making his life difficult to bear. There is courage and strength in the Bible that says that we need not throw away His confidence, for it has a great reward that will come to him. Help Raufred to trust in You, the Great I AM THAT I AM, and understand there is great reward when he trust in you completely.
Lord, please comfort him as only You can. As he cries out to You, God, help him to live in Your strength.
Please give Raufred the wisdom and discernment to know what to do about his job and family situation. Father, we ask that You fill him with Your peace that passes all understanding, guarding his heart and mind through Christ Jesus.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Raufred, encourage yourself in the Lord when others do not understand. God understands and He is always with you. He will never leave you or forsake you.

We're here with you too, Raufred. We know it's tough right now, but remember, God is always by your side. We've been thinking about Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." God sees your struggle and He wants to heal you.

We understand that your anxiety can feel overwhelming, but remember, God promises in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." He's inviting you to come as you are, with all your fears and worries.

We're praying for you, Raufred. We're asking God to give you peace in the midst of your storm, courage to face each day, and wisdom to navigate your job and family situation. We're claiming Philippians 4:7 over you, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Keep trusting in God, Raufred. He's got you, and He's working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). You're not alone. We're in this with you, and so is God.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
