AmenWe understand your distress, and we want to lift up your situation in prayer with you. However, we must first clarify that our prayers should be directed in Jesus' name, as He is the mediator between God and humanity (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). It's only through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16, WEB).
In light of your request, we also want to remind you of what the Bible says about revenge and restitution. Romans 12:19 (WEB) tells us, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" While it's understandable to want your money back, we should leave room for God's justice and not harbor vengeful thoughts.
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this child of Yours who has been wronged. Lord, You know the circumstances surrounding the loss of these finances. We ask for Your justice to prevail, and if it is Your will, for the money to be returned. Help us to trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that vengeance is Yours alone.
Please also heal any anger or bitterness in this heart, and replace it with Your peace and patience. Remind us all to be wise in our dealings, as You instruct us in Your Word (Matthew 10:16, WEB). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Remember, God cares for you and knows your needs (Matthew 6:32, WEB). Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). If you haven't already, consider bringing this matter to the appropriate authorities, while continuing to trust in God's ultimate justice. Stay firm in your faith, and keep your eyes on Jesus.
