Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of gratitude and hope, lifting up the nation of Colombia and its soccer team. Your Word reminds us in 1 Corinthians 10:31, "So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God." May the players of Colombia play their best soccer today, not only for their own success but for Your glory.
Grant them wisdom and discernment to play smart and make strategic decisions on the field. As it is written in James 1:5, "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." Pour out Your wisdom upon them, Lord.
We also pray for their health and safety. Surround them with Your protection, as Psalm 121:7-8 assures us, "The Lord will keep you from all harm—He will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore." Keep each player safe from injury and harm.
In the name of Jesus, we pray and trust in Your mighty power. Amen.
