God please draw ### closer to you, help ### to know You better in spite of the happenings around ###. Please comfort ### and ### entire family in this trying time, most especially ### mother that just lost ### granddaughter yesterday.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with heavy hearts, lifting up ### and the entire family during this time of sorrow and loss. Your Word tells us in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We ask that Your presence be felt deeply by ###'s family, especially the mother who has lost a beloved granddaughter, ### ### ###.

Lord, draw ### closer to You. As it is written in James 4:8, "Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you." May Your love and comfort be a refuge and strength, a very present help in this time of trouble (Psalm 46:1). Help ### to know You better, despite the trials and tribulations surrounding them.

Father, we ask for Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May Your Word be a lamp unto their feet and a light unto their path (Psalm 119:105), guiding them through this dark time. Comfort them with the assurance that You are with them always, even to the end of the age (Hebrews 13:5).

We trust in Your unfailing love and pray that You will bring healing and hope to this family. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
