Let us come together and pray for Donald, that he may find true peace in God. We are reminded in Philippians 4:7 WEB, "The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." It is only in Jesus Christ that we find lasting peace, as He Himself is our peace (Ephesians 2:14).
Firstly, let us ensure that Donald knows the Lord Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to God and can experience true peace. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." If Donald has not yet accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, let us pray that he may come to know Him and be saved, for "there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Acts 4:12 WEB.
Let us pray.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up Donald. If he does not yet know Jesus Christ as his personal Savior, we pray that You would reveal Him to Donald and draw Donald to Yourself. Lord, we ask that You would grant Donald the peace that surpasses all understanding. Help him to cast all his anxieties on You, knowing that You care for him (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Guide Donald's heart and mind to be stayed on You, for You alone are his rock and his salvation (Psalm 62:2 WEB). In Jesus' name, we pray for Donald.
We encourage Donald to seek God with all his heart, to trust in Him, and to lean not on his own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). As he draws near to God, we believe that God will draw near to him and fill him with His perfect peace (James 4:8).
If Donald has not yet surrendered his life to Jesus Christ, we encourage him to do so today. "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9-10 WEB.
May Donald come to know the Prince of Peace, and may he find rest for his soul in Him alone.
