Dear Heavenly Father,

In the mighty name of Jesus, we come before you on behalf of Thosquelawe, who has a prayer request for the opening of a Salvation Army church on Uxbridge Rd. We lift up this desire to you, Lord, knowing that you are the one who establishes and builds your Church. We ask that you would open the doors for this church to be established, where your love and salvation can be proclaimed to all who enter.

Father, we also pray for volunteers and employees to be sent to run this Salvation Army church. Your Word tells us in Matthew 9:37-38, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field." We ask, Lord, that you would raise up dedicated individuals who have a heart for serving and ministering to those in need. May they be filled with your Spirit and equipped to carry out the mission of the Salvation Army.

Furthermore, we pray for grants and funding to be provided for the Salvation Army Church on Uxbridge Rd. We know, Lord, that you are the provider of all our needs, and you are able to supply abundantly. We ask that you would open doors of provision, that the necessary resources may be available to hire staff and provide practical help and support to vulnerable Christian disabled single women and the elderly. Your Word assures us in Philippians 4:19, "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus."

Lord, we commit this prayer request into your hands, trusting in your faithfulness and sovereignty. May your will be done in this situation, and may your name be glorified through the establishment of this Salvation Army church and the ministry it will carry out. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
