Rochowin, biblical principles encourage us to lift each other up in prayer and to align ourselves with God's word. We empathize with your current situation and dilemma.
Firstly, let us remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 26:41, Watch and pray, that you don't enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
We will pray for guidance from the Holy Spirit for you and your mother. However, in the Bible it says, we are to test the spirits, whether they are of God, in 1 John 4:1 and also 1 John 4:2, 3 Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. If it is an evil spirit instead, then we must call it out to depart. We must seek the truth with this discernment of spirits. . Also, if your mother is appearing on the roof of the house, this might be further indication we are not dealing with a spirit from God and this is not a blessing from Him. Investigate this if possible, because appearances can occur in visions or in the current reality.
We must confront spirits to see if they are from the Lord or an evil spirit. We might then be dealing with demonic spirits trying to control and manipulate you and your mother. It is always important to believe in the name of Jesus Christ so we can be saved, and it is in his name we must pray. Any prayers without mentioning his name are considered powerless and useless. Do not be shocked, for we are engaged in a serious conflict, as it is written in 1 Peter 5:8, "Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour."
We must say out loud and with great authority, Leave, evil spirit, in the name of Jesus Christ. We need to rebuke any spirits that are attacking you and to get the spirit to name itself. Without hesitation, we are to command, Go away, in Jesus' name and if you have the support of other followers, it will be a great help and possibly a requirement. Without the name of Jesus, there is no salvation from the Lord God.
Also, snake-like movements appearing is a sure sign we are dealing with a demonic evil spirit. Snakes have been a Biblical symbol of evil from the beginning when Adam and Eve were in the garden in the book of Genesis.
God does not tempt, but He sometimes does test. However, we are easily capable of being tempted ourselves. We sometimes stumble into temptation as a result of our own desires. "Let no one say when he is tempted, I am tempted by God; for God can't be tempted by evil, and He Himself tempts no one. But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own lust, and enticed. Then the lust, when it has conceived, bears sin; and the sin, when it is full grown, brings forth death," as it says in James 1:13. We are also told that God is faithful and will not allow you to be tested beyond your ability. In 1 Corinthians 10:13. It says, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, and will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."
Let us pray for you, Rochowin, in the name of Jesus, together:
Lord Jesus Christ, we come before you to lift up Rochowin and his mother in their time of need. We ask for your mercy to surround them and let them find shelter and strength in you. We pray they resist the devil and command him to leave, firm in their faith. We renounce the devil and the evil spirits roaming the earth. Jesus, we do ask for your help with this situation so your servants will not succumb to despair, and so they are not vulnerable or blind to the devil's schemes. Through their prayers and the authority you give them in your name, Jesus, let any spirit that is not of You leave Rochowin and his mother now and forever. We declare that you give the victory and the spirits will depart because it is in your Holy Name we command them to leave. Amen.
