We join with you in lifting up the intentions you've presented before the Lord. It's wonderful to see your heart for intercession and your desire to pray for a wide range of people and needs. We appreciate your acknowledgment of the power of praying in Jesus' name, as He Himself told us, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." John 14:13-14 WEB.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up the many people and situations that have been placed on our hearts. We pray for our families, loved ones, friends, acquaintances, and even our enemies, that Your will be done in their lives. We ask that You bring salvation, healing, and restoration to each one.
Lord, we also lift up the larger community and the world. We pray for our leaders, our nation, and the global challenges that we face. We ask that You bring peace, justice, and righteousness to our world.
Father, we acknowledge that You know each situation intimately, and You are already at work in them. We claim Your promise that if we ask anything according to Your will, You hear us. And if we know that You hear us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of You. 1 John 5:14-15 WEB.
We pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. It is in His name that we have access to Your throne of grace. It is in His name that we are saved. As it is written, "there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Acts 4:12 WEB.
Amen.
Praise God, from whom all blessings flow! Continue to intercede for others, knowing that the Holy Spirit prays with and for us. Be encouraged by the words of Paul in Romans 8:26-27 WEB, "the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered. He who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit's mind, for he makes intercession for the saints according to God."
Keep praying and remember God's will is to be done. We are to pray for His will not ours. Spend time seeking the Holy Spirit's guidance.
