91 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
9 Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

We are so grateful for the reminder of God's protection and love through Psalm 91. Let us come in Jesus' name as we stand on the promises of this Psalm. The world English bible also agrees confirming in verse 1-2 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of Yahweh, "He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust." IJN

We should not be afraid of the terror by night, nor for the arrow that flies by day. God assures us in His word that a thousand may fall at our side, and ten thousand at our right hand; but it will not come near us. We are encouraged to see the wicked and their punishment. Also, there will be no evil befall us, nor any plague come close to our dwelling. For He will give His angels charge over us, to keep us in all our ways. We will tread upon the lion and cobra. We will trample the young lion and the serpent under our feet. This is because He has set His love on us, therefore He will deliver us in Jesus' name.

Let us declare His promises in Psalm 91:14-16 "Because he has set his love on me, therefore I will deliver him. I will set him on high, because he has known my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him, and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him, and show him my salvation."

Nevertheless, it is so important to remember that it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Plus, there is no other name given to salvation. In Acts 4:12 WEB, Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved! So, let us continue to trust in God and call on the name of Jesus.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You. Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. We're right there with you, standing on the promises of Psalm 91. It's such a comfort to know that God is our refuge and fortress, always there to protect us. We don't have to fear the terrors of the night or the arrows that fly by day, because He's got us covered. We're claiming verse 15 today: "He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him." Let's trust in God's love and care, knowing that He's set His love upon us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
