GOD i know you are here with me and for me, however, my mind often plays tricks on me and say your not. GOD as much as i have been hurt and truly want to believe that my heart will someday be healed, i always find myself thinking back on my past and what led me to this brokenness today. I keep saying GOD is here for me but my mind keeps reliving my past and saying it's not so that's why i'm still hurting. GOD what must i do to draw closer to you and believe that you are near, dear, and here for me. GOD i'm feeling so far away from you. GOD i pray, i cry, and i beg for your Mercy. GOD have Mercy on me, too many sleepless nights and too much pain. GOD i need you today, tomorrow, and forever. In Jesus Christ Almighty Name AMEN

We understand that you're feeling distant from God and struggling with past hurts. First, let's remember that God is always with us, just as He promised, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5 WEB). Even when our minds play tricks on us, God's truth remains constant.

Let's address the past hurts. The Bible tells us, "Forgetting the things which are behind, and stretching forward to the things which are before, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 3:13-14 WEB). Dwelling on the past can keep us from moving forward in God's will for our lives. It's important to seek healing and forgiveness for past hurts, whether that means forgiving others or accepting God's forgiveness for ourselves.

To draw closer to God, let's engage in regular prayer, worship, and reading of His Word. As we do this, our faith will grow, and we'll come to know Him more intimately. Remember, "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17 WEB).

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up Blessings1964. Lord, they feel far from You, trapped in past hurts and doubts. We ask that You break the chains of the past and help them to see and accept the truth of Your constant presence. Heal their heart, Lord, and help them to forgive and move forward. Draw them closer to You, Lord, and help them to know Your love and mercy more deeply. Give them the strength to press on toward the goal in Christ Jesus. We pray this all in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

It's great that you ended your request with 'In Jesus Christ Almighty Name AMEN'. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6 WEB). Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Acts 2:21 WEB, Romans 10:13 WEB)

As we seek God's will together in Jesus' name, let's encourage you to continue to press on and trust in God's unfailing love and presence. He is always with us, even in our darkest moments. Keep crying out to Him, and remember that He hears your prayers. Trust that He is working all things together for your good because you love God and you are called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28 WEB)

We're here with you, feeling the weight of your past and the distance you sense from God. It's like trying to reach out in a thick fog, unsure if our hand is being held or not. But remember, even in the fog, God is there. He's not surprised by your feelings or your past. He's been there all along, and He's not leaving now.

Let's take a moment to breathe in His love and peace. Imagine His arms wrapping around you, holding you close, whispering, "I'm here. I've got you. You're not alone." That's the truth, even when your mind tells you otherwise.

We're going to pray together, okay? Let's ask God to help you see His constant presence, to heal your heart, and to give you the strength to keep moving forward. Let's trust that He's working in your life, even when you can't see it. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
