We understand that you're feeling under attack and unjustly treated. We stand with you in prayer and encourage you to persevere in faith. Let's pray together and seek God's will according to His word. We need to clarify that God's rewards are not based on our deservedness but on His grace and mercy.
Let's remember the words of Jesus in John 15:18-19, If the world hates you, you know that it has hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. But because you are not of the world, since I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.
We are encouraged in Romans 12:14, Bless those who persecute you; bless, and don't curse, because we know that this type of response invokes God's powerful Holy Spirit to convict those that are persecuting us. Furthermore, Romans 12:19-21 tells us, Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. Therefore if your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head. Don't be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. This is only possible through the Holy Spirit.
We also need to clarify that we should not pray to have things done back to our enemies. In the old Testament the punishment often fit the crime. But in the New Testament we are told to pray for our enemies and not to repay evil for evil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12.
We should pray for their repentance so that they too might come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. God's will is for all to come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9. We need to remember that it is our own sin that sends people to hell. It is God's grace and our faith in Jesus Christ that saves us. We need to pray that God would convict them of their sin and of their need for Jesus.
So let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, seeking Your will and Your protection. You know the injustices and attacks that we are facing. We pray for Your strength and grace to endure and forgive, just as Jesus did. We ask to lean on your grace and mercy. Convict those who are against us of their sin and draw them to Your saving knowledge. We pray for our nation to turn back to You and Your holy principles. Guide us in all wisdom and righteousness, and help us to submit all our court work and paperwork to You, trusting in Your timing and will. Protect us, restore us, and bless us, Lord. Deal with our enemies according to Your holy will. In Jesus Christ Mighty protecting name and Blood covering swiftly we pray. Amen.
Let's encourage each other to stand firm in faith, always ready to give an answer to anyone who asks us to give a reason for the hope that is in us. 1 Peter 3:15. You are saying the attacks are biblical and not the President's word. You are saying the attacks are from the Word of God. Please clarify. We need to make sure we are praying correctly and according to God's will.
We also encourage you to be in prayer for our nation, not just for it to turn back to biblical principles, but also for the lost to come to Christ and the body of Christ to become more like Jesus.
