We are truly saddened to hear such a perspective on God, and we want to address this concern with love, truth, and prayer. Firstly, it's crucial to understand that God is holy, just, and loving. He is not a thief, but a giver of life and every good thing. As it is written in James 1:17, "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning."
The idea of bad luck is not biblical. Instead, the Bible tells us that we live in a fallen world where sin and its consequences are real. However, God uses even the difficult circumstances for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28).
If you are experiencing difficult times, we encourage you to turn to God, not away from Him. He is the only source of true comfort and help. As it is written in Psalm 46:1, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."
Let us pray together:
"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your forgiveness and mercy. We reject the idea that You are a thief or that You cause bad luck. We affirm that You are good and that Your love endures forever. We ask for Your comfort and help for Floarkiingate. Turn their heart towards You, and help them to see Your loving hand in their life. Give them the strength to endure their trials and the faith to trust in You. We also pray that if they do not know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, that you will open their eyes to his sacrifice on the cross for their sins, which is the only way to have access to you. We pray that they will repent of their sins and believe in Jesus Christ for their salvation and for eternal life, in Jesus Christ's name we pray. Amen."
If you have been hurt or disappointed, we encourage you to pour out your heart to God. He is always ready to listen and to help. As it is written in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds." Trust in Him, and He will never fail you.
