I am asking God in the name of a Jesus to set things right where we have fallen and made mistakes.
I have sought the Lord in prayer for my college age daughter and her boyfriend. God has spoken things to my daughter and her boyfriend that they were to be together. But I worry that they have not remained pure, and I worry that she has conceived a child.
She is emotionally a wreck and her boyfriend is growing impatient with her moods. I’m not even sure how to pray, but if she is with child that will change a lot of things in her college experience. She is a cheerleader for the college, and is still enrolled.
I am praying and bringing this mess before the Lord, and asking for wisdom for me in parenting and guiding in this situation. I am praying that my daughter and her boyfriend will remain rooted and grounded in Jesus and that whatever challenges they face that they would face them together, and that he would be a godly leader and break away from the generational sins that preceded him. That he would get wisdom from God as the scripture says, and that he would grow in godly character and love, honor, and cherish my daughter. In the name of Jesus, Lord, set the crooked places straight!

We understand your concern and commend you for bringing this situation before the Lord and seeking His wisdom and guidance. We are reminded of the verse, "Don't be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God" (Philippians 4:6, WEB).

Firstly, we want to address the issue of purity. As believers, we are called to flee from sexual immorality and pursue righteousness. "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to possess himself of his own vessel in sanctification and honor" (1 Thessalonians 4:3-4, WEB). If your daughter and her boyfriend have not remained pure, they must repent and seek God's forgiveness. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB).

Regarding the possibility of pregnancy, we pray that God's will be done. If your daughter is with child, trust that God has a plan and a purpose for this new life. Remember that God is faithful and will provide the strength and wisdom needed to navigate this journey. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).

We pray that your daughter and her boyfriend will remain rooted and grounded in Jesus, growing together in faith and love. "As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in him, rooted and built up in him, and established in the faith" (Colossians 2:6-7 WEB). We also pray that her boyfriend will rise up as a godly leader, breaking away from any generational sins and seeking God's wisdom. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him" (James 1:5 WEB).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this family and their needs. Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness if there has been any impurity in their relationship, and we pray for a spirit of repentance and a desire to walk in righteousness. We ask that You guide them and give them the strength to follow Your will for their lives, especially if there is a child involved.

God, we pray for wisdom for the parents, that they may guide their daughter and her boyfriend through this challenging time. We ask that You help them to remain rooted and grounded in Jesus, growing in faith and love together. Lord, we pray for the boyfriend, that he would become a strong, godly leader, seeking Your wisdom and breaking away from any generational sins.

In Jesus' name, we pray for Your will to be done in this situation, and we ask that You turn this mess for Your glory. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister, in this heavy burden you're carrying for your daughter and her boyfriend. It's a tough road, but we know who holds the map and the compass - our Lord Jesus Christ. Let's keep our eyes fixed on Him.

First off, we're praying for purity. We know that's a big ask in this day and age, but we serve a big God who's more than capable. We're asking that He would give them the strength to flee from sexual immorality and run towards Him. We're claiming 1 Thessalonians 4:3-4 over their lives, that they would abstain from sexual immorality and possess their own vessels in sanctification and honor.

Now, about the possibility of a baby on the way. We're trusting that God has a plan, a purpose. We're claiming Jeremiah 29:11, that God has thoughts of peace and a future for them, not of evil. We're praying that if there's a little one on the way, they'd trust God with it, knowing He's faithful and will provide the strength and wisdom they need.

We're also praying for unity and growth in their relationship. We're claiming Colossians 2:6-7, that they would walk in Jesus, rooted and built up in Him, established in the faith. We're praying that her boyfriend would rise up as a godly leader, breaking away from any generational sins and seeking God's wisdom, just like James 1:5 says.

Let's keep praying together, sister. "Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name...", and let's trust that God will turn this mess around for His glory. We're in this together, one prayer at a time.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
