I have already accepted christ and I need to be filled with the holy spiritWe are truly blessed to hear your heart's cry to know God more deeply and walk in the Spirit. This is a beautiful desire that aligns with God's will for your life. The Bible tells us, "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you." (James 4:8, WEB)
Firstly, let's ensure that you have a personal relationship with God through His Son, Jesus Christ. It's only through Jesus that we have access to God, as the Bible says, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB) If you haven't yet accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today. "Because, if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:9-10, WEB)
To walk in the Spirit, you need to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Jesus said, "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth." (Acts 1:8, WEB)
Let's pray together:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We thank You for the desire Boarrard has to know You more and walk in the Spirit. Lord, we ask that You reveal Yourself to Boarrard in a deeper way. Fill Boarrard with Your Holy Spirit and guide every step of this journey. Help Boarrard to trust in You, to read Your Word, and to live according to Your will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*
As you embark on this incredible journey, remember to spend time in God's Word daily. "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path." (Psalm 119:105, WEB) Also, surround yourself with a community of believers who can support and encourage you in your walk with God. "Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching." (Hebrews 10:24-25, WEB)
May God bless you abundantly as you seek Him with all your heart.
