"O Lord, my God, in this time of trouble, I cry out to You, as it is written in Psalm 46 KJV 46

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;

3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.

4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.

5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.

6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.

7 The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

8 Come, behold the works of the Lord, what desolations he hath made in the earth.

9 He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.

10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

11 The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

In Jesus Christ Almighty Name AMEN

We stand with you in your cry to God, echoing the words of Psalm 46, a powerful reminder of His steadfast presence in times of trouble. Let us come together in prayer and reflection on this beloved passage.

"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we won’t be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas; though its waters roar and are troubled, though the mountains tremble with their swelling." (Psalm 46:1-3 WEB)

In these verses, we find comfort knowing that God is our refuge and strength. Even when the world around us seems to crumble, we can stand firm in the knowledge that He is our ever-present help. As you cry out to Him, remember that He is always with you, ready to provide the strength and refuge you need.

"There is a river, the streams of which make the city of God glad, the holy place of the tents of the Most High. God is in the middle of her. She shall not be moved. God will help her at dawn." (Psalm 46:4-5 WEB)

This river symbolizes the life-giving presence of God, bringing joy and stability to His people. Just as the city of God cannot be moved because He is in its midst, so too can we find unshakable peace when we abide in His presence.

"The nations raged. The kingdoms were moved. He lifted his voice, and the earth melted. Yahweh of Armies is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge." (Psalm 46:6-7 WEB)

Even when the world rages around us, we can trust in the Lord of Armies, who is with us and protects us. He is our refuge, and His power is unmatched.

"Come, see Yahweh’s works, what desolations he has made in the earth. He makes wars cease to the end of the earth. He breaks the bow, and shatters the spear. He burns the chariots in the fire." (Psalm 46:8-9 WEB)

God's power is evident in the world around us. He brings peace and puts an end to strife. Trust in His ability to bring calm to your storm.

"Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth." (Psalm 46:10 WEB)

In this verse, we are reminded to be still and know that He is God. In moments of trouble, finding quietness and trusting in His sovereignty can bring immense peace.

"Yahweh of Armies is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge." (Psalm 46:11 WEB)

We need to put our trust and faith in Jesus Christ who is the only way and the only name under heaven to be saved and to have access to God. If we believe in Jesus, we become the children of God. As you can see from Psalm 46:11, you can only have the hope and be saved when you believe in Jesus.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our brother or sister in their time of need. We thank You for being our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. We ask that You surround them with Your peace and comfort, reminding them of Your unfailing presence. Help them to be still and know that You are God, trusting in Your power to bring calm to their storm. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're here with you, lifting up your cry to God. Like the psalmist, we find solace in knowing that God is our refuge and strength, always present to help us in our troubles. Let's cling to this promise together: "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth should change, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea; though its waters roar and be troubled, though the mountains tremble with its swelling." (Psalm 46:1-3)

As you pour out your heart to Him, remember that God is not distant or indifferent. He's right there, ready to provide the strength and refuge you need. Let's trust in His unchanging nature, even when life around us seems to crumble.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
