God - I come to you asking for help. I am having trouble functioning after my wife has asked for divorce and I have discovered her infidelity. She will not speak with me. I ask that you open her heart so that she will speak with me. I ask that we be given the opportunity to rebuild our marriage and keep our beautiful family intact. I ask that you protect our little boy as we navigate what is to come next. Lord, if it’s in your plan, please save our marriage. Let this time apart give us what we need for personal reflection. I feel that I am not only losing my wife, but I am also losing my best friend, soulmate, and life partner and I do not have a complete understanding as to why. I ask for clarity on what has happened and for this pain to yield. Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you on behalf of DanielM, who is facing immense pain and turmoil in his marriage. Lord, we lift up his broken heart to you and ask for your divine intervention in this situation. We pray that you would open his wife's heart to have a conversation with him, that they may find a path towards healing and reconciliation.

Father, we ask for your guidance and wisdom as they navigate through this difficult time. Grant them the opportunity to rebuild their marriage and restore the love and trust that has been broken. Protect their precious son, Lord, and shield him from any harm or confusion during this process.

Lord, if it aligns with your perfect will, we humbly ask that you save their marriage. Help them both to reflect on their actions and seek forgiveness and understanding. Bring clarity to DanielM's mind, revealing the reasons behind this painful situation. Comfort him in his loss, knowing that you are always near to the brokenhearted.

We pray for healing, restoration, and a renewed sense of love and commitment between DanielM and his wife. May they find solace in each other's presence once again, and may their marriage be a testimony of your grace and redemption.

I have been a adulteress in my past, speaking from experience. She might want to remove guilt off of her and place blame on you, but for whatever reason or excuse or accusation, cheating is not your problem (though now it is because you were hurt and caught in the crossfire and you will have to forgive and heal) it is something that is deeply flawed within her(like we all are). Stepping out on your marriage is a lie and 100% an attack from the enemy. The grass is never greener on the otherside, an affair partner will never fill the void, it is a fleeting lie from the enemy. And when we cheat, we are not just sinning and hurting ourselves but we are sinning against God. Think about Joseph when Pharoahs wife tried to seduce him, yet Joseph said he would not sin against God. But, my point is not to blame her, nor you. But after i had my affair, it took me being born again and having a revelation of sin, to see the error of my ways... i was so hurt, when i realized how broken i was, how awful that i had cheated on my husband with a man that WASNT EVEN HALF of the kind of man my husband is. And my husband, oh my gosh, he was so hurt. It took years to overcome for us, but he was so patient (like jesus), forgiving (like Jesus), kind (like Jesus), he was bitter and it took yrs to work through, my husband would hug me and id cry and let him know how sorry i was. Something that was supposed to be sacred between the two of us, id ruined. Yet we remain married, we worked through it and overcame. So it is possible, you guys can work through it. God will help you, He can lead you out of the dry lands into spring waters of life and Jesus can restore and redeem any relationship. Time, patience and healing [and healing isnt linear, some days are worse than others] ill talk to God about your marriage and hope for the best.

I just said a prayer for you and your wife, asking the Lord to work in your circumstances and bring healing and restoration according to His perfect will. May He fill you with His peace, comfort, and strength as you lean on Him during this difficult time. Have you sought out any counseling for this? Should you be interested, Focus on the Family has free licensed counselors that you can call at 1-800-A-FAMILY. A friend of mine found them very caring and understanding. I hope you’ll be encouraged by this thought from the psalmist: “The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles” (Psalm 34:17).
