But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him, and was moved with compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him." God's arms are indeed wide open to those who come to Him with a sincere heart.
However, we notice that your prayer does not mention the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It is crucial to recognize that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As Acts 4:12 (WEB) states, "There is salvation in none other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
