I want to share a testimony of integrity and gratitude. About two weeks ago, I raised a claim form at work for an expense totaling ### naira. As part of this, I typically purchase a carton of A4 paper, which costs ### naira at the global supermarket where we usually shop. A week later, a gentleman came into the office to market his business, mentioning that he sells A4 paper for just ### naira, significantly lower than what I had been paying. Seeing this price difference, I immediately thought, "Wow, this could be a great opportunity for us to save money!" I decided I would go ahead and purchase from him and refund the remaining cash to the company. However, during this process, a colleague began pressuring me to pocket the difference instead of returning the funds. It was a tempting thought, but as I reflected, I realized that this was simply not who I am. No matter the circumstances, no matter how tight things may get, my integrity and principles won’t allow me to act against what I know is right. I thank God for giving me the strength to stand firm in my values, for allowing me to resist temptation, and for reminding me that integrity always triumphs. It feels good to walk in integrity, and I'm grateful to have remained true to myself and my values.
