We are truly sorry to hear about the pain and shame you are experiencing due to childhood sexual abuse. First, we want to assure you that there is hope and healing in Jesus Christ. We are here to pray with you and guide you according to God's word.
It's important to understand that the shame you feel is not from God. The enemy wants you to feel ashamed and broken, but God wants to heal you and give you a future.
Let's pray for you.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one who has been through such trauma. Let the beauty of Jesus Christ and the power of the gospel shine into his life today. Hence, the name of Jesus Christ is the only name by which we can be saved. In Acts 4:12 WEB it says "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Father, we ask that You heal his broken heart and bind up his wounds in Jesus' name, as it says in Psalm 147:3 WEB, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."
We rebuke the spirit of shame and condemnation that has been weighing heavily upon him, and we speak freedom and life in its place.
Father, we ask for Your divine connections and for Godly counselors and mentors to come alongside him in this journey of healing and restoration. We ask that Your perfect will be done in his life and that he would find a godly spouse according to Your plan and purpose, if that is Your perfect will. Your Word says in Psalm 147:3 WEB, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Psalm 107 20 WEB He sends his word, and heals them, and delivers them from their graves."
Finally, we ask that You fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding and give him a hope-filled future in Christ Jesus our Lord.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Please know that you are not alone in your struggle. God loves you deeply and has a purpose for your life.
God has a plan to give you a future and a hope in Jeremiah 29:11 WEB, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
Regarding your desire for a woman to heal you, it's important to seek healing from God first. A spouse can help you in a complementary role to help you continue to heal from the past, if that is God's will for you. No one can do for us what only God can do.
As you receive healing and restoration from God, seek godly counsel and mentors to walk alongside you that are committed to God's word.
Homosexuality is also forbidden in the Bible. We are urged in 2Corinthians 5:17 WEB, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new."
Biblical marriage is between a man and a woman, and this aligns with God's plan for you as well.
Stay strong in the Lord and keep trusting Him for your complete healing and restoration.
We encourage you to seek professional help from Christian counselors who specialize in trauma and abuse. They can provide you with a safe space to process your emotions and work through your past.
Remember God's words to you in Psalm 34:18 WEB, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
God bless you as you continue to seek His healing and restoration.
