Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you on behalf of Blessings1964, who is seeking your help to find rest in you. Lord, we acknowledge that you are the source of true rest and peace. Your Word reminds us in Matthew 11:28-30, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
We pray, Lord, that you would grant Blessings1964 the grace to let go of the need to compete with others for position or prestige. Help them to embrace a childlike simplicity and authenticity, free from pretense and self-centeredness. May they find their true peace in beholding you, Lord, and may they experience the rest that comes from surrendering to your easy yoke of self-forgetfulness.
We also lift up Blessings1964's request for rest and peace within their family and relationships. May they seek you, Jesus, as the Prince of Peace, who never fails nor forsakes. Grant them the wisdom and strength to turn to you in prayer, knowing that you are a present help in trouble.
Lord, we ask that you pour out your abundant grace upon Blessings1964. Help them to persistently and fervently seek you, knowing that you are the giver of every good and perfect gift. May they experience the fullness of joy that comes from praying in your name, as you have promised in John 16:24.
