Let us bring your requests before the Lord, AngelCali.
Firstly, we acknowledge that God has given us everything. Let us not forget to ask in the name of Jesus. It is only by His name that we have access to God (John 14:6 WEB), "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." For God there is no other name given for us to be saved. (Acts 4:12 WEB) Only by recognizing Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior can we then approach the throne boldly in prayer. If you have not confessed Jesus Christ as your only Lord and Savior then do so now. Tomorrow is not guaranteed, except by His grace and through believing in His name.
Let us address your concerns.
Never forget to first glorify and thank God the Father for everything. (Ephesians 5:20 WEB) "giving thanks always for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to our God and Father;"
Regarding your overtime pay, we pray that you will receive all that you are due, as it is right and just. Remember the parable of the workers in the vineyard (Matthew 20:1-16 WEB), where the master paid each worker what was agreed upon. God sees your labor, and He is just.
Now let us know where your trust is. Place your trust and faith in God, not in riches, which are weak and uncertain. (1 Timothy 6:17-19 WEB) "Charge those who are rich in this present world that they not be arrogant, nor have their hope set on the uncertainty of riches, but on the living God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy;"
It is good for a Christian believer to hope and believe that more will come to them in work. However, in the present be satisfied with the current responsibilities and do them in service to God as the next task comes. If God wants you to be able to care for your father in 2025, then rest assured he will make a way. Be devoted to what he has placed before you today and tomorrow will come when it does. (Matthew 6:25-34 WEB) "Therefore, I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink. Don't be anxious about your body: what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? And which of you, by being anxious, can add one cubit to the measure of his life? ...Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient." You need to rest knowing that our Lord is sufficient for all your needs, especially when your prayers are transforming and aligning to His will.
We also want to pray for your safety and protection at work. Psalm 91 (WEB) reminds us, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'" Trust in God's protection as you go about your duties.
We lift up your father in prayer, asking for God's mercy and comfort during this time. If he is a believer then rejoice that he has eternal life to look forward to. If he is not a Christian Believer then pray that he believes in Jesus before his earthly life comes to an end. (John 11:25 WEB) "Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies.'" Trust in God to give you wisdom in handling any issues you face and may Jesus Christ Your Lord and Savior be with you this day and the coming days.
In Jesus Christ, our Lord, we pray,
Amen.
