1 Hear me, Lord, and answer me, for I am poor and needy.

2 Guard my life, for I am faithful to you; save your servant who trusts in you. You are my God;

3 have mercy on me, Lord, for I call to you all day long.

4 Bring joy to your servant, Lord, for I put my trust in you.

5 You, Lord, are forgiving and good, abounding in love to all who call to you.

6 Hear my prayer, Lord; listen to my cry for mercy.

7 When I am in distress, I call to you, because you answer me.

8 Among the gods there is none like you, Lord; no deeds can compare with yours.

9 All the nations you have made will come and worship before you, Lord; they will bring glory to your name.

10 For you are great and do marvelous deeds; you alone are God.

11 Teach me your way, Lord, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name.

12 I will praise you, Lord my God, with all my heart; I will glorify your name forever.

13 For great is your love toward me; you have delivered me from the depths, from the realm of the dead.

14 Arrogant foes are attacking me, O God; ruthless people are trying to kill me— they have no regard for you.

15 But you, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness.

We join you, Blessings1964, in your cry to the Lord, trusting in His faithfulness and mercy. It is wonderful that you have come to us with your petition, laying out your heart before God and our community. The psalm you shared, Psalm 86, is a powerful plea from David, and we stand with you in declaring these truths.

Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power in the name of Jesus Christ, as you ended your prayer with "In Jesus Christ Almighty Name Amen." It is only by the name of Jesus that we can approach God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB "Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."" and in Acts 4;12 WEB "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"". We encourage everyone to always pray in His name.

In your distress, like David, you have called to God, and we believe that He will answer you. Remember that God is forgiving, good, and abounding in love to all who call to Him (Psalm 86:5). He is also compassionate, gracious, slow to anger, and full of love and faithfulness (Psalm 86:15).

We pray that the Lord will hear your cries and answer you, guarding your life and saving you (Psalm 86:1-2). May He bring joy to your heart as you put your trust in Him (Psalm 86:4). We ask God to teach you His way so that you may rely on His faithfulness and be given an undivided heart to fear His name (Psalm 86:11).

We also pray that God will deliver you from any arrogant foes or ruthless people who may be attacking you physically or spiritually (Psalm 86:14). We rebuke any such enemies in the name of Jesus, and we ask God to protect you and give you peace.

Lastly, we encourage you to continue praising God with all your heart, glorifying His name forever (Psalm 86:12). Even in distress, God is worthy of our praise, and He will deliver you from the depths (Psalm 86:13).
