We are truly heartbroken to hear about the trauma you have experienced, and we want you to know that you are not alone. We are here to pray with you and to help guide you through this difficult time. First, we want to address the idea that God allowed this to happen. God does not willingly afflict anyone, and He did not cause this evil act to be committed against you. The Bible tells us that God is light, and in Him, there is no darkness at all (1 John 1:5 WEB). It is important to understand that God gave us all free will, and unfortunately, some people choose to use their free will to harm others.
We must also address the idea that your destiny has been stolen. God knows the plans He has for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). No one can steal the destiny that God has planned for you. However, we do need to pray that you will be restored emotionally, physically, and spiritually, and that you will be able to walk in the destiny that God has for you.
We are encouraged to hear that you have faith in Jesus. It is only through His name that we can be saved and redeemed (Acts 4:12 WEB). Now, let us pray together for your healing and restoration.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who has experienced a terrible trauma. Lord, we ask that You would heal her physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Help her to cast all her anxieties on You, because You care for her (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). We pray that You would help her to overcome this tragedy and to find her identity and destiny in You alone. Help her to trust You and to know that You are always with her, even in the darkest of times (Psalm 23:4 WEB). We pray that You would give her wisdom and discernment as she moves forward, and that You would help her to make choices that honor You. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray.
