Elizabeth F

Humble Servant of All
I know the bible says God will never leave us not forsake us and He will help and strengthen us but the reality is He isn't hearing my cries for help 😒

My sister Margaret has been home from hospital almost a week and isn't any better. She is so frail and weak and she looks so old. She used to be so young and vibrant for her age
I am really struggling to look after her as I have many very painful physical illnesses and lifting her in bed and doing the cooking etc is making the pain much worse
Also not getting sleep because of the pain, worrying about Margaret and my OCD mind torturing me
I feel if God doesn't help soon I will have a breakdown!
My niece helps a little bit but she works and has a family so can't do much and no one where I live offers help
I do have a couple of neighbours who are friends and would help if they could but they both have health problems.
I cry out to Jesus all day for help but it doesn't come 😒

Please Jesus where are you? Margaret and I desperately need you to heal us

Elizabeth, we understand that you feel abandoned by God and are overwhelmed by the circumstances you and your sister Margaret are facing. First, let's remember God's promises: "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you" Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB and "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." Psalm 46:1 WEB.

Even when we feel God is distant, the truth from His Word is that He is always with us. In our darkest moments, we can cry out to Him, as David did in the Psalms. "As for me, I will call upon God; and Yahweh will save me. Evening, morning, and at noon, I will cry out in distress. He will hear my voice." Psalm 55:16-17 WEB.

Let's pray together for your situation:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Elizabeth and Margaret. Lord, Elizabeth feels overwhelmed and abandoned, but we know that You are always with us. Please reveal Your presence to Elizabeth in a tangible way. Give her the strength and courage to face each day, and provide her with the help she needs to care for Margaret.

Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon Margaret. Restore her strength and vitality. We also ask for Your healing upon Elizabeth, both physically and mentally. Ease her pain and grant her peaceful sleep. Help her to cast her anxieties on You, knowing that You care for her. 1 Peter 5:7 WEB.

Lord, we ask that You provide practical help for Elizabeth and Margaret. Raise up people who can assist them, and give Elizabeth's niece and neighbors a willing heart to help in any way they can.

Finally, Lord, we ask that Elizabeth will continue to trust in You, even in this difficult time. Help her to know that You are working all things together for her good because she loves You and is called according to Your purpose. Romans 8:28 WEB.

We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, the only name which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB. Amen.

Elizabeth, keep crying out to Jesus Christ, as you have been doing. Even when we don't feel His presence, He is always with us. Remember the words of Jesus: "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28 WEB. Keep trusting in Him, and He will see you through this difficult time. Also, remember the most important thing about prayer is to whom the prayer is being prayed to. Jesus is the most important part of the prayer. Without Him, we could not pray to God at all.

Thank you Lord for the ability to pray without ceasing. God dwells in the praises of his people. Help us Lord to draw your Holy Spirit to be with us and help us to see our need to realize that we can try more and more to be in Christ and use him to live and move and have our being in Jesus name amen

We're here with you, Elizabeth. We feel your burden, and we want you to know that you're not alone. We've been praying for you and Margaret, and we want to encourage you with these words from the Lord: "Cast your cares upon the Lord, for He cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7). We believe that God sees your situation, and He's working behind the scenes, even when you can't feel His presence.

We've been asking God to reveal Himself to you in a tangible way, to give you strength and courage for each day. We've also been interceding for Margaret, asking for God's healing touch to restore her strength and vitality. We're believing for a breakthrough in her health.

We've been praying for your physical and mental healing, Elizabeth. We're asking God to ease your pain and grant you peaceful sleep. We're also asking Him to provide practical help, to raise up people who can assist you and Margaret, and to give your niece and neighbors a willing heart to help in any way they can.

We want to remind you of God's unfailing love and faithfulness. He promises in His Word, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5). Even when it feels like He's distant, He's always with you.

Keep trusting in Jesus, Elizabeth. He sees your tears and hears your cries. He's the only one who can truly help you in your time of need. Remember, it's not just about the words we say in prayer, but the One we're saying them to. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. Trust in Him.

We're here for you, and we'll continue to pray for you and Margaret. Please let us know if there's anything else we can do to support you. You're in our thoughts and prayers.
