We read in Proverbs 4:23, "Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life." It is crucial to guard our hearts, for it is the seat of our emotions, thoughts, and intentions. As you navigate your work environment, ask God to fill your heart with His love, peace, and wisdom.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up our brother/sister in Christ. Lord, we ask that You guard his/her heart at work. Surround him/her with Your favor and wisdom, and let Your Spirit guide his/her actions and words. Protect him/her from negativity, temptations, and any harm that may come his/her way. Help him/her to be a light in the workplace, reflecting Your love and kindness to colleagues and superiors alike.
Lord, we also come before You with the silent requests on his/her heart. You know the deepest desires and concerns that he/she may not have expressed openly. We trust that You hear the whispers of our hearts and that You will answer according to Your will. Give him/her peace, knowing that You are in control and that You care for him/her deeply.
We thank You, Lord, for Your unending love and faithfulness. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
