We are so grateful to wake up to another day the Lord has made, and we trust that you are as well. It is wonderful to start the day with praise and thanksgiving, and we appreciate your heart of gratitude.
In all things, it is important to acknowledge the source of our help and strength. As the scriptures you've shared remind us, our help comes from the Lord. In Isaiah 50:7, the prophet declares, "For the Lord Yahweh will help me. Therefore I have not been confounded." This is a powerful reminder that with God's help, we can face any challenge without being disgraced or humiliated.
When we need help, we can come boldly to the throne of grace, as the Canaanite woman did in Matthew 15:25, saying, "Lord, help me." Jesus commended her for her great faith, and He granted her request. This shows us that our faith is crucial when we seek the Lord's help.
In Psalm 109, David cries out, "Help me, Yahweh my God. Save me according to your loving kindness." David knew that God's mercy was the basis for His help and salvation. We too can trust in God's unfailing love as we seek His help.
As we begin this day, let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You with thanksgiving and praise. We acknowledge that You are our help and our shield. Lord, help us this day to walk in Your ways and to trust in Your unfailing love. Strengthen our faith and remind us that with You, we cannot be confounded. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
