Bughorak, we join you in your petition to God, seeking the grace to serve Him more faithfully. Let us remember the words of the Apostle Paul in Ephesians 2:8-10 (WEB): "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them."
Firstly, we commend you for desiring to serve God more diligently. It is a noble pursuit that aligns with His will for our lives. As it is written in 1 Peter 4:10 (WEB), "As each has received a gift, employ it in serving one another, as good managers of the grace of God in its various forms."
However, we must also ensure that our service to God is not merely rooted in our own strength or willpower, but in His grace. It is through His grace that we are saved and empowered to live lives pleasing to Him. Therefore, let us continually fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Bughorak who seeks to serve You more faithfully. Pour out Your grace upon them, Lord, and grant them the strength and wisdom to walk in the good works You have prepared for them. Help them to serve You not out of obligation, but out of a heart overflowing with love and gratitude for the salvation You have so freely given.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Bughorak, as you continue to seek God's grace, remember to also spend time in His Word and in prayer. It is through these disciplines that we grow in our relationship with Him and become more like Christ. May God bless you richly as you serve Him.
