Beloved of All
Your father God how you know your truth Mormon missionaries I have been trying to convince me that there is more than the Bible as God's Word. I've always known that the Bible is true. Please give me discernment I don't wish to offend these people they are kindly well meaning but this is a scary time for me in Jesus name Amen

Prayers can do wonders for your soul. God gives us joy and strength though prayer. You can get a great sense of peace in good times and consolation in bad from them. Our Lord wants to give us the good things we ask for in accordance with His will. The more we pray the more we can grow in His grace. Grace is a gift from God that enables us to live more fully in union with Him. It strengthens our desire to choose good over evil. It also helps us to manage difficulties in our lives better. When we feel humility, compassion, forgiveness weÒ€ℒre putting othersÒ€ℒ needs before our own. These are signs of GodÒ€ℒs graces working within us. When we let Him work through us, we help Him to do the same for others. We can show His love for others in how we treat them and in how we pray for them. For those people in your life who continually rub you the wrong way (and we all have them! Bosses, co-workers, family members, etc.), prayer can give you the grace to deal with them better. Also, as Jesus said in the Sermon on the Mount, Ò€œPray for those who persecute and slander youÒ€ (Matthew 5:44). God wants us to pray for others, however we may feel about them (or even if we don't personally know them). Such prayers remind us that one way or another, we are all in this journey towards holieness together. Your prayers can do a world of good for others, just as their prayers can help you! Let's continue to PRAY for EACH Other!

Dear heavenly Father ,show us the way Jesus, , Father we stand before you asking to be lifted before your throne were there is healing ,and wisdom .

Guide us to the path that you sat before us help us to see the way clearly .

Help us to stand before the evil one that seeks to destroy us through any means possible , hide us in the shelter of your loving arms dear Lord .

Send warring angels to fight for us , as we wait on you Lord , give us the strength to follow you even in the darkest and hardest times , knowing that whatever happens you are there in the mist of our battles , , , comfort us , We know that you are fighting for us ,

Help us to stand firm in our faith , give ear to our call Lord , as we praise you , in the storm , we will love you , all the days of our lives , IN Jesus name we ask , Amen

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus (Phillipians 4:6-7).

I have prayed for this. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Mormons hold up the Book of Mormon and other books as Scripture -- which defines a cult and is forbidden in the Bible.

Go to youtube and search on Mormon ceremony, temple, beliefs, etc. -- they use a lot of Free Mason chants and hand signs and such in their ceremonies -- none of which is Biblical.

Joseph Smith claimed to have translated Egyptian hieroglyphics and called it the Book of Abraham (one of the Mormon scriptures). This was in mid-1800s...then the Rosetta Stone was discovered, and, for the first time, heiroglyphics could be translated. The things he translated described how to enbalm bodies for burial back in ancient times. The sketch of a man over a body on a table was an illustration of embalming a body, not of Abraham about to sacrifice his son as Joseph Smith claimed.

The carm.org site will have other useful info as well.

Mormons are told not to research the history of their church or to go to websites that discuss it.

I have Mormon friends, some of whom are super-nice, and very family oriented. The church assigns a "home teacher" who visits you in your home once a month, which can be very nice for lonely people.

I considered joining (20 years ago) just to be around such a welcoming group. I never felt right about it, and did not do it.

After watching some of the temple ceremonies and such, I never could have done that. Their baptisms are done in a temple in secret and they are not to discuss the ceremony. When I was baptized in a Baptist church, after receiving Christ as my savior, it was a PUBLIC profession of faith, done in front of entire church in my church where anyone could enter, and was very simple. Huge difference.

I pray God gives you discernment. Go to God's Word and pray.
