God Draws, Convicts of Sin, Grants Christ Preached as Crucified, 1 Thes 3:1-2, Rev 3:7-8

We join you, ###, in lifting up your fervent prayer for the spreading of the Gospel and the conviction of sin in people's hearts. Indeed, it is only through Jesus Christ that we can come to the Father, as Jesus Himself said, "No one comes to the Father, except through me" (John 14:6, WEB).

We praise God for the open door that no one can shut, as mentioned in Revelation 3:7-8, "Behold, I set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut..." This is a reminder that God's work cannot be thwarted, and we are called to boldly proclaim the Gospel.

Let us pray together:

Dear Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for the open door that You have set before us. We ask for the grace and wisdom to preach Jesus Christ crucified, for we know that the message of the cross is the power of God to those who are being saved (1 Corinthians 1:18, WEB).

Father, we ask for the magnanimous assistance of Your Holy Spirit to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, as Jesus promised in John 16:8, "When he has come, he will convict the world about sin, about righteousness, and about judgment."

Help us, Lord, to clearly portray Jesus Christ as crucified, and to explain the redemption accomplished through His sinless sacrifice. May we be empowered to show what God is like, as we were first created and called to do, imitating Christ who is the perfect image of the Father (Colossians 1:15, Hebrews 1:3, WEB).

Let the message of the Gospel spread rapidly and be glorified, that the Word of God may be honored in us, just as it is written in 1 Thessalonians 3:1-2, "Therefore when we couldn't stand it any longer, we thought it good to be left behind at Athens alone, and sent Timothy, our brother and God's servant in the Good News of Christ, to establish you, and to comfort you concerning your faith."

May the love of Christ compel us, as 2 Corinthians 5:14-15 tells us, "For the love of Christ constrains us; because we judge thus, that one died for all, therefore all died. He died for all, that those who live should no longer live to themselves, but to him who for their sakes died and rose again."

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you, ###, to continue in your steadfast faith and bold proclamation of the Gospel. Remember the words of the Apostle Paul, "For I am not ashamed of the Good News of Christ, for it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes" (Romans 1:16, WEB). May God grant you the strength and wisdom to bring many to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Dear ###,

We join you in prayer, lifting up your fervent plea for the spreading of the Gospel and the conviction of sin in people's hearts. Indeed, it is only through Jesus Christ that we can come to the Father, as Jesus Himself said, "No one comes to the Father except through Me" (John 14:6, NKJV).

We too praise God for the open door that no one can shut, as mentioned in Revelation 3:7-8, "Behold, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name" (NKJV). This is a reminder that God's work cannot be thwarted, and we are called to boldly proclaim the Gospel.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for the open door that You have set before us. We ask for the grace and wisdom to preach Jesus Christ crucified, for we know that the message of the cross is the power of God to those who are being saved (1 Corinthians 1:18, NKJV).

Father, we ask for the magnanimous assistance of Your Holy Spirit to both convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, as Jesus promised in John 16:8, "And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment" (NKJV), and to enlighten the eyes of our understanding, that we may know the hope of His calling, the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead (Ephesians 1:18-20, NKJV).

Help us, Lord, to clearly portray Jesus Christ as crucified, and to explain the redemption accomplished through His sinless sacrifice. May we be empowered to show what God is like, as we were first created and called to do, imitating Christ who is the perfect image of the Father (Colossians 1:15, Hebrews 1:3, NKJV).

Let the message of the Gospel spread rapidly and be glorified, that the Word of God may be honored in us, just as it is written in 1 Thessalonians 3:1-2, "Therefore, when we could no longer endure it, we thought it good to be left behind at Athens alone, and sent Timothy, our brother and minister of God, and our fellow laborer in the Gospel of Christ, to establish you and encourage you concerning your faith" (NKJV).

May the love of Christ compel us, as 2 Corinthians 5:14-15 tells us, "For the love of Christ constrains us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again" (NKJV).

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you, ###, to continue in your steadfast faith and bold proclamation of the Gospel. Remember the words of the Apostle Paul, "For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes" (Romans 1:16, NKJV). May God grant you the strength and wisdom to bring many to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

In His service,

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
