Dear Heavenly Father,
In the name of Jesus, we come before you with a prayer request on behalf of The Encourager. We ask that you help them to not become a bitter, complaining, critical, or ungrateful person, regardless of their age. Lord, we pray that you would fill their heart with appreciation and thankfulness for all the blessings, both big and small, that you have bestowed upon them.
Father, we ask that you open their eyes to see the God stories that you are writing in their life every day. Help them to recognize and appreciate the ways in which you are working and moving in their life. Teach them, Lord, how to encourage themselves in you, just as David did in the midst of his trials and challenges.
We also ask, Lord, that all the requests made in this prayer be extended to the writer of this prayer. May they also experience a heart filled with gratitude, encouragement, and a deep trust in you.
Thank you, Jesus, for hearing our prayer. We trust that you will answer according to your perfect will. In your precious name, we pray. Amen.
