The book of Proverbs is undoubtedly the most wisdom-filled book of the Bible; I refer to it often. Yet, as it has always been, those who are called, especially into difficult assignment, often appear to operate in juxtaposition to Proverbs. BUT GOD knows whom He has chosen, and the mission for which they are chosen.

God didn't call a linguistic scholar to deliver a spoken warning to a Pharoah; He chose the one sitting over there stu-stu-stuttering.

God didn't call the meek and timid to build His church; He chose that quick tempered dude - the one with the switchblade.

God didn't call a Temple Scribe to serve as an Apostle of Christ, and to write the New Testament; He chose that cop who was persecuting and killing His People.

God didn't call an angel to prepare the way for our Lord and Savior; He chose that "insane acting" fella in the wilderness, the one eating bugs.

God didn't call a highly educated, multi-degreed, Chief Pharisee Priest to save the world; He chose the one they said was Mary’s baby (“Joseph’s maybe”), the one who slept outside, the one who preached peace, AND turned over tables in the Temple (no doubt, to the grief of church leaders). The who rode in on a borrowed donkey (perhaps he may not have had bus fare - in this generation). You know, the one the builders (the world) rejected.

God didn't call that revered, celebrated lady, with the popular Facebook page, who seems to have it all together, to prophesy to her hometown; He chose this broken vessel with the lil' red wig, who was willing to stand on a train platform, in the early morning - on bright sunny days, five and a half years ago, shouting out loud about a flood.

You know, sometimes when you think you're glorifying God, as they thought in Nazareth, and Jerusalem, you're just NOT:

Isaiah 66:5 Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at His word; your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for My name's sake, said, let the LORD be glorified: but He shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.

God's ways are not like ours; He even tells us so. Those who are sent by Him will probably never look or act like man expects. Even of Christ's return, we are forewarned that He will come as a "thief in the night." According to that same Gospel, we are taught that the spirital man can neither be judged nor tested by the natural man; but indeed, spiritual things are discerned by the spiritually indwelled, and no-doubt much more so, by the spiritually filled.

Some people, in well meaning, say: "You can't help anyone else until you first help yourself." Excellent advice, in natural realm. But I'm so glad God does not operate in the, far too often, selfish, natural realm. It's ironic how He flips the script to bring His generous purpose to pass in the spiritual realm. Paul went from selfishly and unjustly imprisoning God's people, to literally being a prisoner for Christ. He couldn't get himself out of prison nor could he remove the thorn from his own body; yet, he did his most important work for God’s Kingdom, from a jail cell; a work that will serve man through-out the ages. The most important work, of course, was done by our Lord and Savior. Jesus, who, by all APPEARANCES, being tied up and nailed to a cross, was most bound of all. Yet, not as one of the thieves wrongly assessed, "could not;" but rather because "He would not" come down from the cross to save Himself, saved the whole world (those who accept the sacrificial gift by welcoming Him into their lives).

Like the Pharisees, who constantly sought to discredit Jesus’s ministry, many of the church feel that I use too many words. And like the Pharisees, have actually confronted me with scripture to prove their point: Colossians 2:18 Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you. Such a person also goes into great detail about what they have seen; they are puffed up with idle notions by their unspiritual mind. My humility is not false, nor do I worship angels. Nevertheless, when we are called by God, whom having predetermined the purpose of our ministries, He himself sets the course for our ministry, down to the very last detail: Revelation 1:19 "Write, therefore, what you have seen, what is now and what will take place later. Had God wanted me to seal it up, He would have instructed me to do so. HE INSTRUCTED THE VERY OPPOSITE.

Acts 5:29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

So many things of God seem backwards to man, yet all things are so, simply because He said so. It's interesting, to be enslaved in the natural, whether by man, or worldly things, is to be in bondage: But, to be a slave to God, our one and only true Master, is to have ABSOLUTE FREEDOM. So much so that He is the only one whom we FREELY call MASTER.

2 Corinthians 10:7 You are judging by appearances. If anyone is confident that they belong to Christ, they should consider again that we belong to Christ just as much as they do.

God knows exactly what He is doing. He is bringing His predictions to pass in preparation for His Son’s return.

THANK YOU LORD

Note: Many in this city have been following ungodly counsel from their online idols, and others who instruct them to slam, bang, circle around, and do all sorts of other unnecessary things towards me, to “subdue the devil.” As I always say to people who label me as such, “I’m in excellent company, Jesus was called the devil first.” Be that as it may, how utterly disrespectful to Christ still: Because, here’s the for this, and every other city to know and understand: if you are of God, you should know that He put ALL things under Jesus’s feet, well over two thousand years ago, including the devil. Therefore, to think that you have to do all those things to do away with the devil, is to, not only, call God a liar; but to likewise, put Jesus back on the cross, whereby you crucfy Him afresh.

There’s a reason why Jesus instructs the church and city to care for His servants; not that we are incapable, but rather that He had foreknowledge of the earthly bondage we would face, as did He himself.

Now that’s a whole lot of of words. Doubtless, with even more words, did Peter add to the church.
