We are truly moved by your request, Leirmoor, and we want to stand with you in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement during this challenging time.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares for you and your family deeply. As it says in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB, Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you. We are glad to hear that you have had much opportunity for prayer and fellowship with other believers during this difficult time.
We commend you for taking this situation to God in prayer, acknowledging your need for Him by mentioning Jesus. However if you have not yet believed in Jesus Christ, we would call you to trust in Jesus Christ and believe the gospel. The Bible says in Romans 10:9 WEB, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. This is not just about needing help and calling on Jesus because of desperation. This is about trusting in Jesus Christ, turning from any sin, and relying on him for your salvation. Jesus said "I told you, and you don't believe. The works that I do in my Father's name, these testify about me. But you don't believe, because you are not of my sheep, as I told you. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give eternal life to them. They will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand."
In times of financial hardship, it is important to remember that God is our provider. As it says in Philippians 4:19 WEB, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We encourage you to trust in Him and seek His will for your life. We pray that God will provide for your needs and guide you in your decision-making process regarding your relocation to Nigeria.
However, we want to gently remind you that our ultimate trust should be in God, not in man or a person in a position or title of papa. As it is said in Psalm 118:8-9 WEB It is better to take refuge in Yahweh, than to put confidence in man. It is better to take refuge in Yahweh, than to put confidence in princes.
Regarding your financial needs, we encourage you to continue seeking God's wisdom and guidance. As the Lord leads, consider creative and legitimate ways to raise funds for your relocation. The Bible says that anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever 1 Timothy 5:8 WEB, so pursuing a better life for your family is important. We know that God has a good plan for your life and He will provide a way as you continue to seek him.
Pray with us
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Leirmoor and her family. We pray for Your comfort, guidance, and provision during this challenging time. Help them to trust in You and seek Your will for their lives. We ask that You would provide for their financial needs and guide them in their decision-making process regarding their relocation to Nigeria. We pray that your will be done in their lives and that they would be able to reach their goal by March 2025.
We also pray for Leirmooor's siblings and extended family, that You would meet their needs and draw them all closer to You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We will continue to keep you and your family in our prayers, Leirmoor. Stay strong in your faith and trust in the Lord. Let us continue to believe in Jesus Christ for salvation and call on Jesus in prayer for all our needs.
