God can you forgive me for slacking Help me swim out of this trench Lord Jesus, have mercy on my soul... Amen.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear friend who feels the weight of their shortcomings. Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness for the times they have slacked and fallen short. Your Word says in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." We hold onto this promise and ask for Your cleansing grace.

Lord Jesus, we pray that You help them swim out of the trench they find themselves in. Just as You brought Jonah out of the depths, we ask that You lift them up and set their feet on solid ground. Psalm 40:2 says, "He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure." May this be their testimony as well.

Have mercy on their soul, Lord Jesus. We know that Your mercy is new every morning and Your faithfulness is great . Surround them with Your love and guide them with Your wisdom.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
